Project Manager - Transmission Infrastructure
12 Month Contract | Scotland | Hybrid
Up to £675 p/d (Inside IR35IR35) D.O.E
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a major transmission infrastructure programme. The role will focus on overhead line upgrades, network tie-ins, and the delivery of a mobile substation project.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of overhead line works and associated project interfaces.
- Manage a mobile substation project, ensuring delivery to schedule, budget and quality targets.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors and supply chain partners.
- Manage project interfaces, dependencies, risks and programme deliverablesdeliverables.
- Oversee NEC3NEC3 contract administration, change control and commercial governance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Engage with stakeholders across engineering, construction, operations, commercial and planning functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering large-scale transmission, utilities, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong interface management experience across multiple projects and contractors.
- Experience managing external suppliers and delivery partners.
- Knowledge of NEC3NEC3 contracts, project controls, governance and risk management.
- Understanding of CDMCDM Regulations 2015 and relevant HSEHSE legislation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Degree, qualification or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction or Project Management.
