Interim Delivery Manager
Up to £420 per day (Inside IR35)
6 months with potential 12-month extension
Location: Hybrid working, minimum 2 days per week in Glasgow
Security Clearance: Basic Disclosure Scotland and BPSS required
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support the delivery of strategic digital and business change initiatives within a complex public sector environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end delivery planning, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Providing governance, reporting, and assurance to senior stakeholders.
- Supporting Product Owners and leadership teams to deliver strategic priorities.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to maintain delivery momentum.
- Managing relationships with external partners and third-party organisations.
- Overseeing system integration and interface dependencies.
- Assessing and coordinating responses to external changes and impacts.
- Identifying and mitigating delivery, data, and integration risks.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and governance.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Miro, Slack, and similar collaboration tools.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams in Agile and Lean practices.
