Enterprise Architect - 6-Month Contract
Location: Stoke-based
Working Pattern: 2-3 days onsite per week
Duration: 6 months

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support a major transformation programme, developing the target architecture and transition roadmap using a TOGAF-aligned approach.
The role will also support the RFP process, providing evidence-based architectural recommendations to help evaluate technology options, suppliers and the future technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the target-state Enterprise Architecture and transition roadmap.
- Support the RFP process, including technology options and supplier evaluation.
- Review and validate existing architecture and discovery outputs.
- Confirm application, integration, data and technology dependencies.
- Identify architectural gaps, risks and opportunities.
- Assess integration and migration implications.
- Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Participate in Architecture Review Board and existing governance processes.
- Work closely with the Head of Digital, Architecture & Governance and internal Solution Architect.

About You
You will have:
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect within complex transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
- Experience developing target architectures and transition roadmaps.
- Strong application, integration, data and technology architecture experience.
- Experience supporting RFPs, supplier selection and technology evaluations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to translate complex architecture into clear, commercially relevant recommendations.
