Senior Product Manager (Active SC Cleared)
£500 per day (Inside IR35) | 3-Month Contract | Remote (Occasional travel to Manchester, Sheffield and Blackpool) | Government Sector
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager with active SC Clearance to join a major Government digital transformation programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of impactful digital products that improve services for citizens and government users. Working within agile, multidisciplinary teams, you will shape product strategy, lead discovery activities, and drive product delivery from concept through to live service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Defining product visions, strategies, roadmaps and MVPs.
- Leading discovery and ideation workshops with stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Prioritising product backlogs based on user needs and business value.
- Working closely with designers, researchers, developers and delivery managers.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across complex organisations.
- Driving alignment and decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Supporting products throughout the full lifecycle, from discovery to continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Active SC Clearance (essential).
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager within Government or Public Sector environments.
- Strong knowledge of GDS / GOV.UK Service Standards.
- Experience delivering complex digital transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience working within User-Centred Design (UCD) environments.
- Demonstrable experience developing product strategies, roadmaps and MVPs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams.
