Our client is seeking an experienced Client Marine Risk Consultant to support the safe delivery of marine survey and construction activities across a portfolio of major infrastructure projects.

This is primarily an office-based role preferably in Aberdeen, however other locations could be available including Inverness, Perth, or Glasgow. The position requires frequent travel, including regular short-notice visits to ports and project locations throughout the UK.

  • 12 Month contract
  • Daily rate - up to £700 a day

The Role

Working closely with project teams, marine specialists and contract partners, you will provide expert guidance on marine safety, risk management and operational readiness, helping to ensure projects are delivered safely and in accordance with industry standards and best practice.

About You

You will be a marine professional with substantial experience supporting offshore, marine survey or marine construction operations, coupled with a strong understanding of risk management and safety assurance processes.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in marine survey and/or construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of UK marine regulations, standards and industry best practice.
  • Proven experience reviewing marine procedures, risk assessments and mobilisation plans.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Detailed understanding of risk assessment methodologies and their application to marine operations.
  • A NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent), or demonstrable practical experience providing an equivalent level of safety expertise.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.
