Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a critical finance transformation and ERP implementation programme. This is an initial 3-month contract opportunity, operating outside IR35, with a requirement to be on-site two days per week.
Working within a fast-paced programme environment, you will play a key role in understanding current business processes, defining future-state solutions, and ensuring successful delivery against challenging project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across a finance transformation and ERP implementation programme.
- Conduct detailed As-Is and To-Be process analysis and mapping.
- Gather, document and validate business requirements from a range of stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops to capture business needs, pain points and process improvements.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories where required.
- Identify risks, dependencies and potential delivery challenges within tight project timelines.
- Provide ongoing stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering ERP finance transformation or finance system implementation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of finance processes, including areas such as Accounts Payable, Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), General Ledger, Budgeting and Financial Controls.
- Demonstrable experience producing As-Is and To-Be process maps and business requirements documentation.
- Experience working within complex stakeholder environments and managing competing priorities.
- Strong workshop facilitation and requirements gathering skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across business, finance and technology teams.
- Experience delivering within challenging timescales and fast-moving project environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
