Building a product function for a scaling FinTech business

The problem

A global WealthTech organisation, was expanding internationally and needed to establish its first UK-based product team to support their new operating model. 

However, this organisation had little brand recognition in the UK market, meaning candidates were largely unfamiliar with the organisation and its opportunity. At the same time, the business maintained an exceptionally high technical hiring bar, seeking product professionals with a rare combination of product expertise, experience within complex financial or wealth analytics environments, and the ambition to help build a new function from the ground up.

How we solved it

Using our product recruitment teams deep understanding and strong product networks we helped this WealthTech attract talent that not only met an exceptionally high technical bar but also brought the ambition, energy, and vision required to build and scale a new product capability in the UK. 

Starting with the appointment of a Product Lead, we went on to build out the wider team through multiple Product Manager hires.
