<p><strong>Hi, I'm Aaron, a Senior Consultant based in the Harvey Nash Edinburgh office.</strong></p>
<p>I work with a range of clients from Start-ups and SMEs to larger corporate businesses. The positions I recruit vary from entry-level through to Senior/Lead and Engineering Manager level, specialising in recruiting Software Engineers and Software QA/Test Engineers.</p>

<p><strong>Solution Architect | 12 Month Contract | (Outside IR35) | Hybrid, Edinburgh| Starting ASAP </strong></p><p><strong>Please note, Scotland based candidates can only be considered for this role </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Day Rate: £650</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>You will work principally on a strategic digital transformation programme, ensuring that our Design, Innovation and Architecture principles and standards are applied effectively and efficiently across a number of exciting, user-centric change projects.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Working with business and change stakeholders in shaping, agreeing and delivering solution architectures aligned to wider Design, Innovation and Architecture principles and standards</li><li>Working closely with Digital Labs and Scrum Teams to ensure that detailed designs and delivery work is consistent with the agreed solution architecture</li><li>Providing general technology guidance and advice to business and change stakeholders</li><li>Identifying opportunities to deliver business benefit and user-centric capability through adoption of new technologies and/or new ways of working</li><li>Collaborating with business stakeholders, business architects, other solution architects, product managers and Digital Labs across the organisation and with external organisations and partners</li></ul><p><strong>We would like you to have the following experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Technical and solution architecture and design including within programmes, projects or product-centric organisations</li><li>Collaboratively devising technical standards, blueprints, reference architectures, roadmaps, transition states and target solutions across multiple services / organisations</li><li>Interacting and influencing senior stakeholders and a wide range of people across organisations, suppliers, customers, internal departments and teams</li><li>Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by helping to build solution design capability through delivery of solution architecture, standards and mentoring</li></ul><p><strong>We would like you to be:</strong></p><ul><li>Delivery focussed</li><li>Comfortable managing multiple priorities</li><li>Familiar with working in a fast paced gated agile environment</li><li>Able to grasp the existing 'as is' business and solution landscape</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Ideally, you will have had exposure to:</strong></p><ul><li>Working with Cloud Infrastructure &amp; Security Specific Experience.</li><li>Cloud Platform and Infrastructure</li><li>Cloud Native/Hybrid Cloud architectures</li><li>Cloud platform experience - e.g. - Microsoft Azure</li><li>Solution Integration and Integration Layers</li><li>SAAS package delivery and implementation experience</li><li>IAAS experience</li><li>PAAS experience</li></ul><p> </p><p>This role has been deemed Outside IR35 by the client.
