Firewall Engineer| 12 Month Contract | (Inside IR35) | Hybrid, Glasgow| Starting ASAP Day Rate: £DOE About the Role:Harvey Nash's client is seeking a Firewall Engineer to support a significant infrastructure insourcing programme, with an initial focus on discovery and documentation of the existing firewall estate, followed by hands-on support of the firewall environment as part of Business As Usual (BAU) operations and project delivery.The role will be primarily focused on the management, support, and evolution of a firewall estate comprising both virtual and physical Check Point firewalls, including environments hosted on‑premises and in the cloud. While firewall technologies will form the core day‑to‑day responsibility, broader networking skills are desirable to support effective troubleshooting, integration, and project delivery.This role is critical to enabling a successful transition from incumbent suppliers to an in‑house operating model, ensuring knowledge is captured, documented, and embedded within the business.
