Harvey Nash's Client are looking to bring in a contract Governance Analyst, office attendance is only required occasionally, the majority of the role can be worked remotely.
Responsibilities:
Procurement & Financial Administration
- Provide timely, accurate advice and sound professional judgement on purchase orders and invoicing issues, ensuring effective resolution.
- Raise purchase orders using the Oracle Fusion Cloud system for departments, covering software, hardware, and resource requirements.
- Process invoices assigned by Finance, ensuring correct managerial approval and adherence to financial policies, challenging any non-compliance.
- Act as the first point of contact for equipment and software requests within the department, ensuring quotes comply with Scottish Government Procurement regulations.
Governance & Policy
- Manage the central IT Governance mailbox, ensuring all correspondence is handled promptly and appropriately.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, ensuring departmental compliance and addressing any deviations.
Asset & Contract Management
- Maintain accurate records of assets across the estate, including purchase details, warranty information, and disposal data.
- Keep the central contract database up to date, monitoring renewal dates and notifying relevant managers in advance.
Operational Support
- Provide general administrative support to the team.
- Respond to IT-related Freedom of Information (FOI) requests as required.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Collaborate with operational colleagues to identify and implement service improvements aligned with needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, attending supplier meetings as necessary.
