An Enterprise Architect is needed in London to join the IT Design Authority, analyse current technology and processes, identify improvements, and develop future plans. The role involves providing expertise in business processes, technology solutions, and architecture recommendations, as well as supporting business requirements and defining enterprise architecture. This position leads the enterprise architecture function and aligns IT initiatives with corporate strategy.

- Possesses substantial expertise in Enterprise Architecture.
- Demonstrates valued proficiency in business separation.
- Evaluates internal operations, business development strategies, and IT processes to recommend improvements.
- Designs business architecture models that are closely aligned with strategic objectives, formulates and implements business visions and goals.
- Identifies discrepancies and risks in systems engineering, talent acquisition, and accounting models.
- Advocates cost-reduction measures within IT and business leadership.
- Establishes and executes build-versus-buy strategies, mentors team members, and offers guidance on overarching business strategy.
- Defines and delivers complex technical projects, strategies, and architectures; exhibits a thorough understanding of client business and commercial challenges; provides critical insights.
- Responsible for the creation, iteration, and maintenance of enterprise and business architecture frameworks. This includes interpreting business objectives, translating strategy into operational models, conducting strategic assessments of existing capabilities, identifying required changes, and mapping interrelationships among personnel, organisations, services, processes, data, information, technology, and the external environment.
- Determines major technical projects for clients, influences their investment decisions, and develops suitable strategies, architectures, and proposals.
- Impacts customer decision-making through the development of robust technical proposals, including solution and service trade-offs as needed.
- Collaborates with clients to align IT strategies and architectural frameworks with business objectives.
- Engages stakeholders to define requirements, establish design criteria for major solutions, and supervise successful implementation.
