About the Role:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work across a complex enviornmant leading significant areas of analysis activity, shaping problem definition, and providing expert advice to stakeholders. The key duties of the role include:
- Leads the application of a range of analysis techniques to analyse the current state of people, processes and technology with stakeholders.
- Facilitates collaboration and effective communication with business and technical stakeholders to support design, build and delivery that meets user needs.
- Supports improvements to the overall quality of the analysis service through close collaboration with the Head of Business Architecture and Analysis and other team members.
- Provides business analysis expertise, guidance and support across project delivery activities.
- Providing effective consultancy and advice to customers and stakeholders.
- Develop an understanding of the organisation's strategic goals, ensuring this is reflected through solutions and performance improvement.
- Contribute to building capability within the team, enhancing skills and sharing best practice through coaching and mentoring where required
- Work with other digital professionals to investigate and define business and operational needs and identify opportunities for improved outcomes.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Significant experience delivering business analysis across complex projects and programmes
- Experience of structuring business problems and translating them into clear, actionable outcomes
- Experience of planning and leading business analysis activities within multidisciplinary teams to deliver agreed outcomes
- Strong practical application of business analysis techniques and practices, including business cases, as-is and to-be analysis, and technical and non-technical requirements.
- Experience designing and facilitating effective interactions with stakeholders, supported by excellent presentation and communication skills
- Maintaining attention to detail while aligning analysis to the wider strategic and operational objectives
- Experience adapting business analysis approaches across delivery methodologies, including Agile and Prince2.
- Experience developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, including resolving competing priorities and conflicting requirements where necessary
- Experience working collaboratively with a range of digital professions to design and develop solutions to business problems
- Promoting business analysis good practice and contributing to the wider Business Analysis profession through knowledge sharing
