Manhattan Active WMS Consultant / SME
Harvey Nash Project Solutions (HNPS) is seeking experienced Manhattan Active WMS Consultants / SMEs to join a major warehouse optimisation and transformation programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in enhancing and optimising the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) platform, working closely with warehouse operations, business stakeholders and technical teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Contract Details
- Role: Manhattan Active WMS Consultant / SME
- Location: Northampton (5 days per week onsite)
- Contract Length: Initial 3-6 months
- Rate: Competitive
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Shift Pattern: 6:00am to 2:00pm or 2:00pm to 10:00pm
- Additional Requirements: Flexibility to provide occasional weekend support during key project phases, testing and go-live activities
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management platform.
- Work closely with warehouse operations, supply chain and business stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements.
- Analyse warehouse processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Configure and support Manhattan Active Warehouse Management solutions.
- Lead workshops and requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Support UAT, testing, go-live activities and hypercare.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and user support where required.
- Configure Manhattan Active applications and support system enhancements.
- Investigate and troubleshoot production issues.
- Support integrations, data flows, releases and deployments.
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, upgrades and new feature adoption.
Essential Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM).
- Experience configuring and supporting Manhattan Active solutions.
- Strong understanding of Manhattan Active architecture and platform capabilities.
- Experience delivering or supporting Manhattan Active implementations, upgrades or optimisation programmes.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to engage effectively with both operational and technical teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience supporting testing, UAT, production support and continuous improvement initiatives.
Please Note
This role requires consultants who can commit to:
✅ Northampton-based onsite working, 5 days per week
✅ Shift pattern of either 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm
✅ Potential weekend support during critical project phases
