OUr client is seeking a VP equivalent candidate within Markets Operations supporting our Exchange Traded Derivatives and OTC Clearing books and records migration project. Specifically, the role will have a high degree of focus on project management, managing testing cycles and providing an expert eye over a major migration within the firm. This role will specifically focus on Global reconciliations for CCPs, Books and Records and Collateral.

The candidate will report into the manager responsible for NAM/EMEA ETD Controls and be expected to collaborate across the team, and further across the wide range of stakeholders as befits a project of the size in-scope for the role. An ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders, up to the MD level, is crucial for this role as is the ability to think creatively to mitigate any potential issues/ headwinds to delivery.

The Futures and Derivatives Clearing business consolidates Futures, OTC Derivatives and FX Prime Brokerage activity to provide clients with a comprehensive and consistent service experience
Our Futures dept. is one of the world's largest participants in exchange-traded derivative markets and has also established itself as a market leader in the evolving OTC Clearing world.


Responsibilities:

  • Working to support our books and records migration with a reconciliations/ control lens.
  • Providing project management support to the program, in addition to contributions to test design and execution.
  • Communication to a broad suite of stakeholders specifically focused on testing design and execution
  • Assess, using SME knowledge, any new procedures as a result of the migration to ensure they are optimised as far as reasonably possible, without putting delivery at risk.
  • Working with the team to create any new documentation required.
