The Opportunity
We are seeking talented Product Engineers to join a leading global investment bank's technology organisation in Belfast.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within autonomous engineering teams, building and delivering modern financial technology products from initial concept through to production.
The focus is on combining strong full-stack engineering fundamentals with modern AI-assisted development workflows. You'll be hands-on throughout the development lifecycle, using tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of code quality, security and architecture.
We are recruiting across multiple levels, from experienced engineers to senior technical leaders who can help shape engineering standards and influence product direction.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build and ship full-stack applications from concept through to production.
Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
Build scalable backend services, APIs and microservices using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, coding, testing and delivery.
Design robust system architectures, API contracts and data models.
Work with cloud-native technologies and infrastructure, including AWS, PostgreSQL and Terraform.
Take ownership of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and production deployments.
Critically evaluate AI-generated code, identifying security vulnerabilities, architectural issues and potential performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, designers and technical stakeholders to translate business problems into effective engineering solutions.
Contribute to technical standards, reusable components and best practices across engineering teams.
