<p>I lead a team of Consultants that specialise in Business Change &amp; Transformation. I specialise in contract recruitment for Business Change &amp; Transformation professionals including Project/Programme Management, Business Analysis, Product, Agile/Digital Delivery and Senior Leadership.&nbsp;My role is to work in partnership with our Director to grow our contractor numbers.</p>

<p><strong>Accountant| 5 Month Contract | (Inside IR35) | Remote| Starting ASAP </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Day Rate: £350</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>Support the Principal Accountant:</p><ul><li>To provide financial support and advice for medium and longer term financial planning for nominated service department.</li><li>To support the nominated service department in both capital and revenue budget preparation and monitoring.</li><li>Provide support to nominated service management team in effective use of financial resources.</li><li>Financial performance reporting for nominated service department and support nominated service department in service reviews, efficiency improvements and cost reduction exercises.</li><li>To support the Finance Manager in providing other corporate finance services, including tax management issues, financial accounting, including year end accounts, treasury management and asset management.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Main Duties</strong></p><p><strong>Planning &amp; Service Development</strong></p><ul><li>Support Principal Accountant/Finance Manager in developing team and service plans.</li><li>Identify opportunities for service improvement and help develop/revise policies and procedures.</li><li>Assist in strategic planning within available financial resources.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Service Delivery &amp; Implementation</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure high‑quality, best‑value financial services are delivered.</li><li>Contribute to corporate working groups and prepare relevant service/business plans.</li><li>Promote equality, inclusion, customer care, and effective use of IT systems.</li><li>Meet key objectives, targets, and required outcomes.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Revenue Budget Monitoring</strong></p><ul><li>Provide revenue budget information and report performance to managers.</li><li>Support managers in controlling costs and linking budgets to team/service plans.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Financial Resource Use &amp; Performance Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Provide financial analysis, identify issues, evaluate options, and monitor outcomes.</li><li>Prepare reports and support financial aspects of projects/programmes/business cases.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Financial Governance</strong></p><ul><li>Review financial regulations and ensure proper administration of financial processes.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Tax Management</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with VAT and other tax legislation, identifying risks and opportunities.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Additional Specialist Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Support revenue &amp; capital preparation/monitoring processes.</li><li>Assist with accounting policies, year‑end processes, external reporting, and audits.</li><li>Support management of charitable and trust funds, including compliance and investment activity.</li><li>Support treasury management (capital financing, investments, policy development, risk, cashflow).</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Essential Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>CCAB‑qualified accountant.</li><li>Ongoing CPD meeting professional body requirements.</li><li>Providing financial advice and managing/monitoring budgets in a complex organisation.</li><li>Presenting financial information to senior managers.</li><li>Preparing and monitoring complex budgets.</li><li>Experience supporting annual accounts preparation.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p>This role has been deemed Inside IR35 by the client.
